What is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is the treatment of disease or injury using physical means such as spinal mobilisation, manipulation, massage and stretching. Therapeutic exercise and advice form a large part of the treatment enabling patients to help themselves. Electrotherapy such as ultrasound, interferential and laser is also used to reduce pain and promote healing. The Chartered Physiotherapist will diagnose the injury, treat the problem and assist the patient to achieve optimal function.
What is a Chartered Physiotherapist?
A Chartered Physiotherapists is a university graduate with hospital-based training who has comprehensive knowledge of how the body works and specialist training in the diagnosis and treatment of injuries.
How much are the Fees?
Treatments including assessment is €50
Club rates available on request
Home Visits €60
What methods of payment are accepted?
We accept cash or cheques.
What are your opening hours?
Monday - Friday 8.30am to 9pm
Saturdays 9am - 1pm
Are you covered by any of the Healthcare Insurers?
Yes, Fees for physiotherapy qualify for refund under the following:
VHI, Laya Healthcare, HSF, Hibernan Aviva Healthcare, Garda Medical Scheme, ESB
Refunds are also available through the ‘Med1 Form’

What should I wear?
You are advised to wear loose fitting clothing and you may be required to partially undress depending upon the area of the body being treated.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
It may be useful to bring a list of your current medication and any X-ray or MRI reports with you to your appointment.
